The Pearl Jam record was maybe a bit slept on, due to its dropping the same day as Taylor Swift's THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. But it's their strongest work in years.
I suppose it was meant to be counterprogramming, which I can understand, but yeah, going up against TS is bound to lead to disappointing listening and sales numbers.

Dark matter was a really nice surprise. I'm never sure what exactly to expect from PJ, but IMO, this is their best release since Vitalogy.
